THE HÔTEL DE GLACE EXTENDS ITS SEASON TO APRIL 1ST!

Quebec City, March 21, 2013 – This year, the weather has cooperated to let the Hôtel de Glace stay open until Monday, April 1, instead of closing on March 24 as planned. This means that it will remain open for the long Easter weekend - giving people one last chance to visit the Hôtel de Glace in 2013! This is only the second time in 13 years that the Hôtel de Glace has extended its season beyond the scheduled closing date.

Special activities
The Hôtel de Glace team has put together a special program for Easter weekend. Along with the traditional sugar shack, a barbecue will be set up on the terrace and kids can take part in an Easter egg hunt. The prize is a giant chocolate treat from Chocolats Favoris!
Exceptionally, the hot tubs will be open to the public, so bring your bathing suit, towel, tuque and sandals! The lively Club Spas team will be on hand to warm up the atmosphere.
Good news for families, free admission for kids 12 and under from March 29  to April 1!

New hours
From now until it closes, the Hôtel de Glace will be open to the public from 10 am to 8 pm Sunday to Thursday, and from 10 am to midnight Friday and Saturday. Although there will be no guided tours from March 24 to 28, they will be offered during Easter weekend from Friday, March 29 to Monday, April 1.
With its scintillating chandelier and cocktails served in sparkling glasses made of ice, its ever-popular Super Slide and 44 theme rooms and suites, the Hotel de Glace is a one of a kind experience in a spellbinding decor. The Hotel de Glace, where frozen natural beauty meets hot urban style - a must since 2001.
